1. Who we are
Hammer Ready is a commercial finance broker arranging finance for business purchases, including assets and business premises bought at auction. We are not a lender — we prepare funding applications and place them with lenders on your behalf.
MBA Capital Partners Limited (trading as Hammer Ready) is registered in England and Wales, company number 17527751. Registered office: 32–33 Upper Street, London, N1 0PN. We arrange non-regulated business and commercial finance. Where a transaction would require FCA authorisation, we refer it to an authorised firm.
MBA Capital Partners Limited, trading as Hammer Ready, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. ICO registration number: ZC279135.
2. What personal data we collect
When you request a callback or contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp, we collect your name, contact details, company name where supplied, and the information you choose to share about your enquiry.
When you submit a finance application, we collect the personal, address, business and financial information requested in the form, details of the assets or premises and finance you are seeking, and any bank details or supporting documents you choose to provide. The questions depend on your business structure and the type of finance requested.
Bank details and supporting documents are stored separately from the main application record and are accessible only to authorised staff. They are not included in application notification emails or form analytics.
When you use our online application form, we collect limited usage statistics to help us understand how the form is used and improve it. These statistics may include which steps are completed and where validation errors occur. They are designed not to contain your name, contact details, application answers or uploaded documents, and are not linked to your application record. Analytics records are retained for a maximum of 12 months and then automatically deleted.
Our website is hosted by a third-party provider, which may process technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, in operational and security logs as part of running and protecting the service.
3. Why we collect your data and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients.
- To arrange finance on your behalf: performance of a contract, or steps taken before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including relevant record-keeping and anti-money laundering requirements: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) UK GDPR).
- To run and protect our website and services: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), where personal information is involved. Our limited application-form statistics are designed not to contain personal information or identify applicants.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only where necessary for these purposes:
- Lenders — where you instruct us to arrange finance, discussed with you first.
- Professional advisers — solicitors, accountants and others involved in your transaction, where appropriate.
- Service providers — website hosting, secure application and document storage, and email delivery providers supporting our service.
- Communication services — if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, that service processes your communications under its own privacy terms.
- Regulators, law enforcement agencies or courts — where disclosure is legally required.
5. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not proceed: up to 12 months, then securely deleted.
- Active and completed cases: a minimum of 5 years from completion or the end of our business relationship, whichever is later, to meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
- Application-form statistics: a maximum of 12 months, then automatically deleted.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
Depending on the circumstances, you have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure — ask us to delete information where there is no longer a lawful reason to hold it.
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
- Data portability — request your information in a structured, machine-readable format where this right applies.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
7. International data transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as applicable approved contractual arrangements. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

9. Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies or browser storage may be used to deliver and protect the website, to remember your cookie choice and to keep authorised staff signed in. Authentication storage is used for sign-in, not advertising, and cannot be disabled through our Cookie Settings without affecting that service.
The limited application-form statistics described above are collected only if you accept them in our cookie banner or Cookie Settings, and you can turn them off at any time; your choice is remembered in your browser. They do not use analytics cookies. A random identifier is held in memory for the current form visit to group usage events; it is not linked to your application. Refreshing or closing the page ends that visit.
Hammer Ready does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking or the Meta Pixel on this website.
The Cookie Settings control in the footer shows and lets you change your current choice. Your browser also lets you delete or block cookies and site storage; doing so may affect sign-in or other essential functions. External services you choose to open, including WhatsApp and auctioneer websites, have their own cookie and privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the last updated date shown above.
