Vehicle finance FAQs

Who can apply?

This finance is for company buyers purchasing vehicles for business use.

What does pre-approval give me?

A facility letter setting out a proposed budget for the vehicle. This is not guaranteed funding: the lender must approve the purchase and its conditions must be met before payment.

Can you finance used and high-mileage vehicles?

Usually, yes. Lenders look at age, mileage and condition, so older vehicles may mean a shorter term or bigger deposit.

Can I buy several vehicles at once?

Yes. We can finance a group of vehicles from one sale or one fleet as a single purchase.

Does it work for online auctions and dealers?

Yes. Pre-approval works for live and online auctions, dealers and direct fleet sales.

Do I need a deposit?

Usually, yes. The calculator shows it based on the asking price. The final amount depends on the vehicle and your company.

Does the finance cover the buyer’s fee and VAT?

The auctioneer’s buyer’s fee can often be included. VAT on commercial vehicles is normally paid up front or covered by a short-term VAT loan, depending on the lender.

Auctions want payment fast. Can you keep up?

Once you’re pre-approved and we have the invoice, the lender pays the auctioneer direct, usually within the sale’s payment deadline.

Is there a fee for pre-approval?

No. We’re paid by the lender, and there’s no obligation to go ahead.
